A to Z: duPont Registry Tampa Bay’s encyclopedia of luxury

“A to Z: The Ultimate Luxury Lifestyles List” is duPont Registry Tampa Bay‘s first-ever compendium of the best our region has to offer for fans of luxury living. The list is organized by category: D is for Dining, R is for Resorts, etc., and under each letter we single out top-of-the-line examples in the category. Return to dupontregistrytampabay.com throughout the summer to see the next letter on The List, or read the entire list (and the entire July/August issue) in its digital version, on a coffee table, or in a bookstore near you.

A to Z: O is for…. Outdoors

How do you do Tampa Bay’s great outdoors? With these five picks, we’ve chosen something for everyone: daredevils, sharpshooters, speed racers, weekend boaters and even art aficionados — because around here, art’s an outdoor sport, too.

The name says it all: at TreeHoppers Aerial Adventure Park, you can zip along eight different zipline courses, from Easy to Crazy, through 60 acres of Old Florida forest outside Dade City.

Take aim at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays, where you can practice your sharp-shootery not just with shotguns but with bows and arrows, too, on one of the facility’s two archery courses.

Want to go up a lazy river — say, the Hillsborough? Rent an easy-to-drive electric boat from eBoats Tampa, and see Downtown Tampa from a whole new angle.

Murals are popping up so regularly on the walls of Downtown St. Pete buildings that you have to take a tour just to keep up. Florida CraftArt’s St. Pete Mural Tours are the best way to get an overview, with informed guides leading four-block walking tours on Saturday mornings and bike tours (22-block-radius) on the first Saturday of each month. When the 2018 edition of the big SHINE Mural Festival opens in October, they’ll have tours for that, too.
