Paddleboard Adventures: You can rent kayaks at Weedon Island and Ft. deSoto or any of the SUP/surf shops around town. One of our favorites is Urban Kai, with two locations at 13090 Gandy Blvd. and 700 S. Florida Ave., where you can take yoga on water or a fitness class that meets up at The Getaway or, go on an adventure tour and make new friends. www.urbankai.com
Celebrate & Race: Seems there’s a race or walk to celebrate every holiday, from the wearing of the green on St. Patrick’s Day to Easter. www.runtampa.com/events
